What is a dental implant?
A dental implant is a small post placed in the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth. A crown, bridge or denture is attached to it, so the new tooth looks and works like a natural one.
Am I a candidate for an implant?
Most healthy adults with enough jawbone and healthy gums can be. We check this with an exam and 3D imaging, and we will tell you plainly if another option would suit you better.
